Hier findest du Informationen, wie du neue/geänderte Rennstrecken in F1 Challenge installieren kannst. Die Anleitung ist auf Englisch und erklärt zwei verschiedene Methoden, neue Rennstrecken in F1 Challenge einzubauen.

Some mods like GA don't come with a trackpack. Other times you find a track and you want to use it for a different season. There is a short way and a long way to do this. Both will have the same result but the long way is the better way to do it because it allows for multiple copies of track-specific data (like qualifying information and DNFs). So, here are both ways:

Method 1: Use Notepad to open the .GDB file for the circuit you want to work on, for example (C:/Program Files/EA Sports/F1 Challenge 99-02/SeasonData/Circuits/Australia/ 1999_Albert_Park/ 1999_Albert_Park.GDB. Find the "Filter Properties" line, and add all the season names you want separated by a comma and space (e.g. 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002). In case you don't know, the season name for a season is located in that season's .GDB file (e.g. C:/Program Files/EA Sports/F1 Challenge 99-02/SeasonData/ F1_1999.GDB. Open that season's .GDB file and find the line that reads "Game Filter = AND:". The year that comes after that line is the season name.

Method 2: This is the longer, and better way to add a track. For example, if you have the RH05 trackpack and you want to add 2005 Albert Park to the GA 2011 mod, first make a copy of the 2005RH_Albert_Park folder and rename it 2011_Albert Park. Then enter the folder and change all the filenames starting with "2005" or "2005RH" to read "2011" instead of 2005 or 2005RH. Then open up the .SCN file in this folder and change all the 2005s and 2005RHs to 2011s. Finally, open up the .GDB file in that folder and again change all the 2005s and 2005RHs to 2011s except for the Filter Properties line. hang it to the season name, as described in method 1. Finally, type in the correct qualifying, race events (DNFs), and pit stop strategies (the number of stops, followed by the laps the driver made each stop on.
